The UKGSer forum has changed in appearance on both my IPad and IPhone. All the same features etc but the text is smaller. I’m not aware that I’ve changed any settings which may have caused this. Has there been a software/firmware update that I’ve not been noticed?

iOS 26 is being rolled out which changes the look and feel of Apple stuff quite a lot. Has that just been installed? My iPad updated Saturday, my phone yesterday.

I installed IOS26 a while ago
It must have going from 26.1 to 26.2 then. I definitely got updates over weekend and the look and feel is now very different. Current version is 26.2.

I did the update and am not a big fan to be honest. Mostly change for change's sake as far as I can tell.
I find that the font changes if I'm not logged in. When I updated my laptop (Mac OS) it had logged me out and the only way I realised was the change in appearance.
This end the font is no different logged in or not.
No - its awful and I wished I hadnt bothered
I find even the latest phone menu/appearance confusing and hard to use now !
Funnily enough, a few days ago I noticed that my photo, to the right of the UKGSer logo, no longer appears on my iPhone. It was handy as I’d click on it to identify my own posts.
Not a big deal, there are other ways.

Apparently depends how security-minded you are.
The older version iOS are apparently susceptible to hacking whereas the latest seemingly isn’t. It’s a rolling update program.
Same goes for the iPhone. Just typically Apple.
And the human brain sees a different interface and struggles to cope with ‘change’ and unfamiliarity.

Yet it still says up to date at 26.2 on both MacBook and iPad. Perhaps you have different updates there in foreign lands.
