anyway back to the point , got pulled coming out of auchterarder at the w/end , started making progress on thbe long straight towards crieff , 2 officers of the law (hidden in a field entrance)asked where we were going etc , they were generally ok and done the usual checks etc.
Their main concern seemed to be the born agains getting themselves in to bother , rather than any biker harassment.

I suppose another argument on why they are making a high profile campaign with bikes at the moment is alot of bikes are coming out of their winter slumber and the owners could be as rusty as some parts of the bike....

Saw two unusual cop bikes in Glasgow today... fully jam sandwiched trail bikes ridden by Hi-Vized blokes that were dressed half way between normal bike cops and the pansies they have on mountain bikes.

Couldn't get a good look at them as I was in the queue on the outside lane of the M8 doing all of 30 MPH and they were on the off ramp. Looked to be about 250's but I know fuck all about bikes

There is an undercover R1 ,a white one patrolling the A93 area .According to folk who have spoken to the officer and his accomplice ,who was on there own bike.They were spot on and are passing on info about grave,potholes,drain covers etc and trying to improve the roads for bikes,which seems great. Mind you it would be different if you'd melted passed them the wrong side of 50,eh i mean150

Just back from a run up to the Hungry Highlander with a few pals and the White R1 plus pc where there most of the day along with IAM. Very low key just spreading a general Ride Safe meassage. Loads of GSs about today BTW

I had a great night out with them last year. Other guy did'nt turn up so I had 4 of them I'm thinking, what was it I did on my test again?
"Just go down through Renfrew Gav and .............................."
5 mins later one shoots past me and pulls over........"okay, we know you can turn left and right without falling over, now can we make some progress"

After that, brill night, lots of good info and a real hoon. Some of the best fun I've had on a bike. And boy can those guys ride.
What made us all laugh was the cars coming head on, flashing at me to let me know there were four police bikes following me
