Uneasy feeling

What ...

only if you sit on it

... he said; fortunately there is a cure. Sit on the floor next to the bike, then pull it gently over on top of you; the horizon should remain level and you will soon forget to look at it :comfort

I find when my bike leans over , the horizon is on an angle :(

Should this happen on a GS

Only if it's moving forwards, otherwise all the oil will flood the cylinder nearer the ground and destroy the engine, it's true I read it on the internet. :augie

You shouldn't go around tilting the horizon like that - all the water will run over to one side of the sea :eek

nope , my horizon is just fine with the bike leaned over mate ,it's sort of.... , well ,, horizontal ......., sounds like your horizon needs re-calibrated :augie:augie

You should concentrate on the speedo to see how fast your going... like the sporty boys (I was doing 197.3mph etc, and reality was gettin' blurry...etc...etc...yawn):augie

cracking first post & welcome to the nuthouse :thumb:thumb

Greetings from the colonies!!!

I'll fill out my profile once I get bored enough. I had a 96 R1100GS with all the bling until 18 months ago when I had a little incident (write off) I'm coming over to Europe next March. I plan to buy another 1100/1150 GS/GSA and spend a couple of years travelling around making a nuisance of myself...I may even ride the bike home. (I may need a snorkel extension for a couple of places!)

I might hang around here for a while looking for local contacts who I can exploit shamelessly

It probably means you have some Welsh blood in you :thumb2
when I go to places where the horizon is actually horizontal it feels quite odd.
