Unmade roads

My wonderful 2610 has on occaisions tried to send me down bridleway type tracks - it's impressive they are mapped but so far they've been a bit too "off-road" for me with panniers etc on board...has anyone else had similar problems or is my personalised route choice that deters Marion (the kids nicknamed her!) from going down A roads and M ways.....?

Today was good though - Cwmbran (don't ask) to home in Worcester via B roads - fabulous!!!!

If you tick the "avoid unmade roads" in Mapsource and the 2610 it'll try and avoid them when making routes on the PC and when you go "off route recalculating.

Its easy enough to sort, go into menu, press route, then press route setup, then press the custom road prefs, bottom right if I remember rightly, it then gives you the option to decide which roads you would rather use, major medium or minor.
