I often see a blue and white sign of the front of a car in France and I am not sure what it means. Any ideas?
Edit, I do know as I looked it up a while ago but had forgotten. It means expressway for motor vehicles.

I think it is like the Clearway sign we have (red cross with blue background in a red roundel) i.e. limited access road, no stopping, no side roads. Has a red line through it when the zone ends. Pretty universal across Europe.
