I've recently got myself a new pair of sergeant seats cos they are brill. The label with sergeant written on it which is stitched to the side of the seat has in the past always been fixed on the left side of the seat. However, on this seat it's on the ''right'' hand side and it's started to fray very badly due to the friction from sliding my leg over the seat and it looks a right mess. Has anyone else had this problem? Has anyone else got a sergeant seat with the label on the right or is mine a mistake off the production line? I've spoken to the supplier but he does'nt appear interested.

thought about doing just that davy but am a bit worried about water penetration through the holes that it would leave. Clearly I will have to consider that and maybe stick something over the area but it seems a bit much on a £400 seat. Just thought I'd do a bit of asking first:)

If you run a sharp blade just below the piping (leaving a smidgeon of material), you'll not need to worry about water ingress. But be veeeery careful.
