no, i've recently bought one of these ST02 Super Titan Scissor Jacks it can just be seen in my pic. would buy the genuine engine stand if i could find one too.

i have still got the bike, though it's not mine. came to me from a friend to fit new clutch & a pair of rare as hens teeth footboards i've been hoarding. very little about those jobs has been straightforward

tomorrow i have to cut the gearshift in half, rotate through 180º & weld it back together 'cos it's really a convert lever not the cali item it was sold to me as :banghead:

As much as I love Guzzi's, especially Ghezzi-Brian variants, if we start a section for them where do we draw the line over other marques?

I am not surprised that there are so many Guzzi fans, there are similarities in the machines:

Character
Unreliable
No two are the same
Ploughing their own furrow despite the (sic) norm
Ugly as sin
Massive history
Innovative

No, I like the Guzzi occasional threads on here, they are funny, informative and do break up the monotony of repeated BMW issues.

Apropos my 'heck of a job' comment; it was directed at Mr Guzzi not machining my flywheel correctly 26 years ago - thus causing me a massive problem.
