So looking at the 2004 GS I’m not liking the look of the orange indicators and the tail light, anyone know if the later model white indicators swap over? Also the white tail lights might tidy it up.

Any other thoughts on things to make it nice and fresh?

A pal was saying that a power commander makes it nice whats the thoughts?

Cheers as normal, Mark

You can put clear lenses with orange bulbs on/in your indicators.

You could buy the OEM LED tail light from the later model but that will require a trip to the dealers computer to get it working after fitting.

I done this on a previous 2007 bike but the cost is too high. On my current 2007 GSA, I bought an LED tail light from a company called Hornig and its plug & play.

Perfect that’s what I’m looking for.

You can get LED inserts for your OEM indicators......but they're pricey.

With the rear lights, you will be offered 2 types....

The one in my photo is the "0867" which is clear frosted......the other one is just clear.

They are great value.

On my old '06 1200 I simply swapped the original indicators and rear light for the BMW o/e LED versions, much better update than staying with the chunky things or going aftermarket. Phone Motorworks, they can sell you all the bits plus IIRC an adaptor cable to enable the later LED rear light unit to work fine with the canbus electronics.

I bought the BMW rear LED tail light for my 2007........and the bike had to be coded at the dealers for it to work.

The GS-911 won't do it.
I can't speak for the indicators.
