Center stand for a Urban G/S - which is 'the one' to buy?


Wunderlich is £230-ish... any cheaper 'just as good' alternatives?


Any watch-outs?

Looks like the Wunderlich one is £260-ish and the SW Motech one is £225... any differences/experience with either folks?

If its for working in the garage etc get an ABBA stand you may find a SH one on here. The 2016 R1200r adapter kit fits which I happen to have for sale. Failing this a front wheel stand - https://www.sgs-engineering.com/heavy-duty-motorcycle-wheel-chock there's lots available.

Thanks, but I've had bad experiences with ABBA stands (user error!) and I wanted something fixed to the bike - I like the ease, and with limited garage space helps with storage too

After a LOT of googling, I've gone with the SW Motech - I'll post updates once it arrives

Just wondered if you have fitted a centre stand and if so which one ?

Sorry folks - severely delayed reply!

The stand was great. Bit of a fiddle to fit, but only because there’s a fair bit to do than any issue with fitment.

Worked great

I can’t take pics as I’ve long-since sold the bike (needed something bigger for touring and after a brief stint back on a GSA I now ride, and love, my KTM 1290 Super Adventure)
