URGENT help please

Guys

I am about to set off for Morocco sorting through paper work, double checking I have noticed that I only have the new keeper section of my V5. I moved during last year and my log book was sent off when I re taxed it in April. It has not crossed my mind since.
If I contact DVLA can i get a new one sorted or what should I do? I don't sail until Saturday any ideas?

Hate to put a downer.. but when I wasin getting a replacement lost V5 in the DVLA office last week.. they are quoting 6 weeks... but send away and fingers crossed...

Spoke to young lady from Wales called Zoe. She says i need to pop into my local DVLA office 3 miles up the road with a couple of pounds in my back pocket my doc's such as they are, ID a temporary log book and hey presto, temporary papers issued there and then. She says that DVLA will post out tonight with the official log book. Apparently it should get here before Saturday. BUT I can travel to Morocco on the Temporary document.

I don't know if she's ever spent a day working for the DVLA or not.
