Looking for any advice, tips, places to see and things to do on the West Coast of the US from potentially the middle of Feb to the 1st week of March.
Got a wedding in Seattle around the 27th Feb and my tentative plan at this stage is fly to San Francisco, catch a mate for a few days there then hire a bike and head up to Seattle taking a very long time about it. See some sights, do the wedding thing then ride back south to San Fran and head out.
I lived in San Fran a looong time ago so I know the trip to Seattle isn't that far. What I'm looking for is suggestions or experences of hiring a bike (who, where) if anyone has them and any sights, experiences or routes people think would be rewarding along the way. Accomodation hints gratefully received also.
Obviously the weather wont be ideal but given I live in Scotland I reckon I'll manage without too much fuss.
Thanks for any info in advance.
