update! my visor started blowing open again today, (in the snow!) and no amount of fettling with the side pods helped. anyhoo, popped back to LRI where I bought the lid and as luck would have it the Tran-am rep Mick was there.
He was really glad of the feedback and will reflect back to UVEX, but not only that he replaced the visor FOC obviously and it looks to have cured it. the new visor is a better shape and follows the line of the opening better, so cant fault the customer service.
Also, Tran-am are now importing the new black mirror finish visor which is awesome and an equally good fit, so I had to buy the only one Mick had...
DOH! Roll on some sunshine so I can use it......

The only cure I've found is to ride with it open for a short period until your face/breath cools down, after all, lugging the bike out of the garage while dressed in riding kit is bound to make you 'glow' a little. That perspiration and hot breath hitting a cold visor is bound to condense, isn't it ?

as I Aint a stunt rider.

, so even if the visor mists up (Which I hope it won't) I'm prepared to put up with it because I think this lid is great value for money.....I've got some fog tech just in case.
