Will be retiring next year and have a real hankering to buy a Guzzi as a third bike (keeping the GSA and the Kat), sort of a retirement gift to myself

Now I tried out the Stelvio NTX a couple of years ago and it was a nice bike but didn't match a new GSA for what I wanted at the time .

I love the looks of the V11 Le mans especially in polychromatic red but I also love the looks of the 1200 sport 4v anyone got any experience of long term ownership of either ?

It will be an occasional plaything more than anything else and I will probably be buying mid winter when there may be some bargains around

Got gazumped on a V11 Nero Corsa and ended up with a V12 Sport instead which I really do like apart from the on/off throttle (still thinking about a PC V or an ECU flash to help with this) combined with the slightly excessive backlash in the drive train.

The final drive bearing went at 10,000 miles , exactly same part as a GS, but otherwise no problems and the finish is superb. Its done just over 13k now and looks fab, I fitted bar risers to help with the slightly long stretch to the bars, adjustable pegs too. Could do with the taller screen as the cowling direct the wind smack at your helmet. Ride on a summers night and you'd better have a full face lid or you'll get hit in the chops by every flying bug.
