I have loaded a new V7 City Nav onto my PC WinXP Home SP2 and it dose not recognise mps files, when I save it tries to save them as gdb files. I can select mps but each time it asks if I want to replace existing file. In explorer the mps file type shows as unknown.

I have also installed it on another PC Win XP Pro and it works fine? The other PC did have my old V6 sotfware on which I uninstalled first!
Have any of your in the know guys got any ideas.
Thanks.

gdp is the new version of MPS - don't worry about it it's fine just save as gdp and move on. MPS is yesterday's technology :D

PS How's Jersey these days ? I used to live in St Saviour (not the mental hospital) but I escaped aa long time ago :D

Hi Gecko
Thanks for the reply, so on my other PC the older version left something behind that recognises the mps files.

Life here is seriously changing, the states have just voted in VAT, phasing out all allowances for tax 20% means 20% they call it. Hotels are converting to flats everywhere.

Time to follow your lead and bugger off soon.
