As per the title. I think that I may be having a ‘Yorkshire’ moment. No offence intended, but if you choose to take some, please enjoy.

So, I’m going to be riding the V85TT down to The Algarve in November to see the Moto GP event at Portimao.
It might be cold…and wet on the way.

I need some new warmer waterproof gloves. I’ve found some Held gloves to replace my old Held gloves which I’ve always found to be very good for £140.

I used some handlebar muffs on a Honda CB100N way back in the 90’s, they were extremely effective.

Has anyone used them on their V85TT?
If so, which ones.

Yes, I know that they look shit.
But if they’re a lot less than the new gloves and the old gloves can ride again?

Yes! I used some Tocano Urbano ones on my V85TT. Worked well, kept hands warm. Had the habit of somehow knocking cruise control off on windy days. Good for long cold rides

Thanks for that. I’ll have a look at those.

A proper yorkshireman wouldn't even be buying muffs to save on gloves...he'd post a "Can anyone lend us a pair of reet warm gluvs...ta ver muchly" (CB100n...that takes me back)

Or even wearing 2 nitrile gloves on each hand under the bike gloves.

It was a brown one. 👍

Get thee-sen a pair o’ ex army drab olive green woolly gloves from’t surplus store and some o’ them plastic mits from’t petrol station. Tha’ll be reet.

My best experience of hand protection has been with handlebar muffs. Not cool and not one bit stylish, but what a job they do.

Sadly Tucano Urbano no longer make the excellent R319 that fit over adventure bike hand guards. They did have a substitute with PVC windows for a while but not on their website now. I can't find any from Givi or Oxford that used to make alternatives.
Fortunately, I bought a set of R319 15 years ago so can fit them to my V85!
Ebay?

Carve them out of a couple of 2l plastic milk cartons!

Joking aside I’ve found if you put the bar end screw through muffs they don’t get pushed back in the wind
