but mostly pretty pictures for the hard of thinking and links to POI, fuel etc.

even @JohnnyBoxer should be able to work out the directions in the graphics without needing a grown up with a Beeline to hold his hand

It's a great area. I've been up the arse of Belgium many times. Nothing mega quick in that particular area but fast enough to keep you focused as you follow and cris-cross the Meuse, all the way to Namur.

I tripped over this tourist website, which at least still promotes motorcycling as a pastime.

The site has three, fairly simple routes. These should download through a QR code but (as is common) the site to which the QR codes links is broken. However, the PDF of the routes still works. I downloaded the PDF and saved into my iBooks. I then used its basic maps and route cards to create the three routes myself. Here they are:

1. The Franco-Belgian Loop - 100 miles

I did search the French section to see if it had been posted before. It is a French website but seems to have been classified as Benelux previously ...

i only posted the link to the other post because thy looked similar i have not had a close look to see if they are the same, i thought it would save people the effort of cutting them to a route if they were already available

it is the same website so people will now see it whether they are looking in the Benelux or French sections, as the routes venture into both

We can leave one in Benelux and one in France.

Rather like ‘The Alps’, things do become a bit fluid.

It is a lovely little area. Montherme is a nice little town and the road along the Semoy/Semois is unfeasibly pretty.

A love using that road on my way out to Luxembourg / Eifel, The Hotel on the bridge at Montherme is good value and very nice food.

The Hotel up the hill - the Franco-Belge - is a very typical provincial hotel. Quirky people, slightly surly waiting staff, but really good food at very reasonable prices.
