Ok, no one laugh at this one please.
I'm getting my local dealer to check my valve clearances on my 1150 gsa this week. Does the bike lose oil when the covers are off to check the valves or does it all lie in the sump?
Ok, bring it on. I had a jap 4 for years!!!!

You may lose a few ccs from each side but as the rocker covers are above the oil level you don't need to drain the oil.

Mototech engine bars as per NN's

Any body tried these? cannot spring my "modified" BMW adventure bars back on the bike as lost my crowbar, so thought some new ones might do. Any
opinions appreciated.

Fitted a set to my 1100 a few months back , will make all service tasks a lot quicker .

I have these on my 1150, fitted them about 18 months ago, still in good condition but have not been down on them! Do not need to take off to remove rocker covers so good for servicing.

If you lie the bike down on it's side , adjust the valves then refit the cover and flip the bike over to the other side you won't lose a drop :augie HTH
