Yes , one of mine too, along with Antonio’s and Baztan.
La Vina, which does amazing cheesecake has seemingly closed down , which is odd as there was always a queue to get in.

Yes , saw that , so would have been shut anyway today but Google says temporarily closed rather than ‘opens Tuesday at ….’ and hotel receptionist seems to think it’s shut for the time being


But lovely receptionist said the cheesecake at Antonio’s is probably better, plus we found this place

In other news,just received a letter from the Cuñts Against Aviation and they have removed the temporary restriction from my medical following ENT consultation and MRI scan to check for an acoustic neuroma, due to my hearing loss at last medical.
Onwards and upwards.Might have an extra beer tonight

We stayed in a hotel in Plasencia that had a lift for cars to take you to the car park. My car (admittedly slightly wider than average) barely fitted. It was a tense few minutes.

After 10 days of dry roads and blue skies we finally have some rain for an hour or so . Scott waterproofs are go

Very heavy shower in San Sebastián when we went down to garage this morning but stopped by the time we popped out of the lift . Just wet roads for a while .

I had 5 mins of light rain with Ev riding to Scoops house last Saturday and we had about 5 minutes of light drizzle on day 4 in Portugal. Apart from that we’ve had mainly blue skies for 10 days . Very lucky this year .

I do recognise that bakery…

A run north through that coastal pine forest is lovely. You can smell the pine aroma in the air as you ride along D79 from Le Penon to Vieux-Boucau-les-Bains.
