Today the new shopping outlets have opened at the Vanguard Shopping Park
Traffic will no doubt become a nightmare - the single carriageway York ring road is already a bottleneck at weekends due to the Monks Cross centre. Not to mention the park & ride chaos on the A59!
Unless you want to practice your filtering skills, try a different route

At least its off the main drag ring roads (car parks) but getting round the A1237 on a bank holiday weekend is going to be epic.
Makes you wonder what the city council were thinking of, surely its going to impact on the city centre shops
