Vented housing bevel alternative seal

Iv a mates bike needs doing in a hurry and its a week before bmw will have it due to irish bank holiday. Im thinking of getting a 75x90x8.5 rotational seal but not 100% if it will work,there's a felt out to the oem seal which I imagine is of some use but not sure what outside of a soft contact for debris

Any help would be great on this as I'm kind of goosed
