Very sexy stainless lower engine cover

Yes, it fits the 1100 but the bottom of the crud lip may slightly sit inside the belly pan depending on your exact model of pan.

I have tried to make one to compensate for this but it looks like a bag of sh*t.

its not the end of the world and I have not had one returned yet but I`d rather let you know.

Naturally, if you buy one and it either does not fit or you simply don`t like it then I always offer a full no arguement refund as life is too short to f*ck around!

hope this helps, there might even be a photo of one on my website www.cymarcbikeparts.co.uk

Best regards,

Mark.

Thanks for the reply Mark. The 'inside the sump guard' thing doesn't bother me. How about the possibility of not having any lettering / logo at the top?

Yep, nearly `owt can be done!

Yeah, no probs. If you do order then simply put on the notes to seller "No logo, Stupid" (I won`t be offended - I have had my head right up my a*se since I have been back what with sending crud catchers to people with a Honda C90 logo instead of R1200GS :D)

If you want to purchase then simply dosh me up on [email protected]!

Best regards,

Mark.

Belated thanks

Marc, just a quick post to say thanks for fitting the crud catcher on my 09 GS; it still looks as good as the day you bolted it on for me mate in Jan 2010; all that crap and salt through the winter months have left no sign at all. I did a run to Geneva at Easter and quite a few European GS riders remarked on it, so I past them your email. Thanks again :)

Thank you, that is very kind of you

Thats really kind of you to say, thank you. Although it should remain in good order I have found that a wipe with a rag with WD40 on it brings it up superb.

All the best and that is one very nice bike you have there.

Mark.

First time out with mine fitted today as well. Interesting 'ding' sounds again and again on a single track road with stones being thrown up - and that's with a fender extender too.
I guess every 'ding' is one less chip out the powdercoating on the front cover!
Thanks Mark.:bow

Yet to see anyone testing the crud catcher, so i decided to test it on a outing with team Halfwit. (Bahnstomer`s crew) on one of there offroad outings.
Pleased to report, it did what it said on the tin....
Well Mark, cracking job.:thumb2

Hi mark bbq is performing well, hopefully will post photo`s this weekend, been really busy and havent had time to get them off the camera.
Will be coming up to the Ripley bash. See ya there.:thumb2

Horse, is that crud catcher fitted to a 30th Anniversary GSA? , I contacted Mark a few weeks ago to ask if they would fit this model as the bash plate comes up more than standard bashplates and he was unsure, if it is did you have to adapt it in any way , and did you have any problems fitting it?

thanks in advance, really want one for my bike to protect the fron of engine

ferret

Feret... Its a 2010 standard GSA with the heavy duty bash plate fitted, as i use the bike on heavy offroad trips. You will need to drop the plate, fit Mark`s sexy plate, the refit the plate. You shouldnt need to alter the plate at all.
Fits spot on.:thumb2
