Good!

Good, I am pleased.

Would anyone be interested in paying about £40 more to have the rear seat pillion plate able to remove and re-install like the seat using the spigot and `L` bracket method?

Currently mine are clamped on and I really don`t know if anyone would be happy to pay the extra

Aha...................

I knew there was something I was meant to do....................

Well, actually, I hit a dead end over that one - the bar is easy however the mounting of it is definately not easy - currently the bars are attached by purpose made plastic blocks which are made on a plastic injection molding tool on a plastic injection molding machine (or so I am reliably informed).

An estimate for the tooling would be around £10,000 plus the machine to run it or I could get a firm already set up to make the brackets but still incur a tooling cost.

Add onto this the min orders required of thousands and it simply means I am knackered - I only sell one item at a time hand finished and made to order.

Unless I find a `generic` means of fitting the bar which looks good, isn`t cheap and can fit in with my reputation then I am really struggling to come up with an answer.

Unless any good fellow tosser has a good idea...................... :nenau

Hiya Miff Baby

Hi mate.

There`s a good strong bar running around the inside lip of the beak which would make a fantastic anchor point for the light bar. The thing is that it is too close to the inside of the beak itself so any clamp would simply not fit around the bar without pushing against the beak (if you see what I mean).

Otherwsie, it just seems a `void` under the beak area and yes any ideas from the lads would be helpful!

Hi guys

Hiya, yeah - i`d already seen the flat `drive sexy` light bar which really did it for me :drool and was the one I was going to base mine on but if you look carefully you can see the black plastic clamp which fits around or onto the bar - this is what has been the sticking point.

I haven`t given up and I am always looking for a solution - price wise I`ll guess at £40-£50 but if you don`t know material prices are doing backflips at the moment and stainless (my weapon of choice) aint cheap anyway.

yes, its better to email me but use www.cymarcbikeparts.co.uk as www.cymarc.co.uk is my day job!

I can always draw a template up and get some drawings to you for the GS1200? I was going to design mine from the pic above and get it laser cut from stainless (a place near me) and do the bending myself. But would be quite happy to send the specs to you for your business? As I would only need one bar and not many, so the plans would be no good to me.
