hi to all i have the twin cam 1200gs adv and also a lot of vibration running through my right hand (starts with pins and needles)gets so bad i cant even turn indicators off,ive had numerous bms no vibes only this new one bit pissed about it as the bike is really good in all other aspects, going to get throttle bodies synced at 6000mile service if this doesnt sort it well it will be a k1300s anybody else having the same issues with vibrations :thumb

I had this very problem.

I put an accelerator module on, that made it a lot smoother. I'd ordered a set of grip puppies, that took forever to turn up, fitted those as well, no vibes, no pins and needles any more.

Also posture was an issue. I found myself arms locked, holding on tight. I'm a short arse, so have to lean in a bit more, to get my arms bent. The grip puppies made the grips 'thicker', but comfortable.

I found I got the pins and needles quicker if I was riding hard, I guess up through the rev-range and back down in quick succession.

The cheapest one to play with is posture, then grip puppies, the accelerator module. Bar riser would be some thing else to look in to, I did, but came away as I use a tank bar.

Hope these points help, it's a suck it and see.

I’ve ridden my mates 2010 GSA (5000miles on clock) a few times. And compared to my 2009 GSA (17000miles) its quite buzzy through the grips.

However, my GSA didn’t really smooth out until I’d clocked over 6000+ miles, when, one day, for no apparent reason, it just became really silky smooth:thumb2.

I’m on my 4th GS now. And they have all got smoother, faster and just better with age/mileage. :bow

Another thing worth trying, if you are stretching to reach the bars. Is simply adjusting your handlebars. Just loosen the bolts and pull them back a bit (make sure the indicator switches don’t hit the tank on full lock though:blast).
