Vibes ?

Hi
Hoping you will be able to assist with vibration query.
I test rode a 2013 RT today, 7,000 miles on clock. Nice bike , but there was vibration on the handlebars at between 80- 90 mph in 5th and 6th gears.
Is this normal ? "They all do that sir"!
I had a twin cam GS some years ago but cannot remember it doing it.

Wheel balancing?

Would you not feel vibes in all gears at all speeds if wheels not balanced.
Does yours vibrate at 80mph ?

Wheel balance becomes an issue at higher speeds.

Pull the clutch and shut throttle if vibes continue, it's wheels. Apart from tyre balance, check the rims are true.
