Had TKC80 tyres fitted on Saturday. On the way back home I noticed a grinding/friction through the handlebars. It happens only between about 38 and 43 mph. Could this be to do with the new tyres? They now have over 150 miles on them, but still same feeling.

Most likely yes. I notice it when I slow down - definite vibration as the bike slows .

Might check that the left handguard is not loose. Thread on ADVrider reporting it causes a vibration at certain RPMs. The knobbies may make this more pronounced.

Mines had same vibe prob since fitting tkc,s,most ly 4th gear on overrun at 40 to 45 mph.I only expect them to last 2000 miles same as on last bike 650 dakar

SWMBO says to ask you is there any way of increasing the range of the vibration to say 15-80mph ......

:D
