vibration in the foot pegs

Hey there.
Started getting some vibration in my foot pegs. Found out i had a failed needle bearing in the swing arm ( and these are not cheap in norway!!!! ).
After changing these i still have the vibration, so wondering if it can be something else???? Maybe the tires?? Anakees 2 on the bike now, and lots of threads left.
Its only when turning on speed under 60 km/h (37 mp/h).
throttle on-off, clutch on-off has no impact on the vibration..

PS: love the GS, perfect for riding the bad roads in Norway

Could also be the main bearing in your final drive.
Wait until you hear the price of that one

okey dokey... some way of checking that bearing, do i have to dismantle the finaledrive from the swing arm again then....

Could be the tyres, I've had noise/vibration from Tourances in low speed corners on smooth roads when they're part worn. But I don't know how to isolate that cause vs the bearings...sorry.

Probably the tyres, but you could try turning the rear wheel with the bike on its main stand to listen/feel for any roughness. Also, grab hold of the rear wheel by the rim to see if you have any play in it.

No roughness in either sound or feel, and no play on the wheel either...
But found some oil in between the final drive and the swing arm when i changed the bearings, about a tee spoon ran out when i removed the rubber boot.
All i goooood shape, except the vibration.. just have to ride faster then

I let about a teaspoon of oil out of that rubber boot about 7 years and 50,000km ago; never happened again. It can be one of those things that just happens.

When I got the bike I also had vibration in corners. Turned out to be the Conti trail attacks. When worn through half of the thread they start to vibrate.

Yup, mine too. It's a common issue, but not a serious one.
