Has anyone done this? If so I'd appreciate it if you could recommend any suppliers - ideally located somewhere near Hemel Hempstead if possible.

Google search doesn't seem to help much - a few links to youtube videos of people doing it but I need someone to do it for me!

Done a bit more research and wrapping a helmet looks like a right royal pain which is annoying as I thought it would be simple and cheap. What about painting then? How much can I expect to pay for a single colour matt paint job? I've become the proud owner of a VX Pro but it's in the most garish paint scheme you've ever seen:eek

Interesting link but I'm not 100% sure on the idea of covering my lid in lycra. Back to painting it then - I'm thinking very basic matt olive green to match the WC ADV that I don't have. Any ideas on costs appreciated? Really don't want to do it myself if at all avoidable. Ta:thumb

These guys are just along the road from me. It might be worth asking them for a price - http://www.bikepaints.co.uk/index.htm#Links

Thanks. Read about that lot and they sound very good - apparently one of only 5 approved Arai painters in the UK. They're on my list of people to call tomorrow. Still can't find an idea of price anywhere online though?!

I don't think adding vinyl wrap to a helmet is a great idea TBH. A helmet is designed to 'skate' along any surfaces it meets at a shallow angle. The addition of a layer of vinyl is likely to add a 'grip & twist' element to this which I reckon is pretty undesirable. Same reason (other than unknown chemical make-up of the adhesive) that stickers aren't a great idea.

Just my two peneth...
