Bought one of these today but when I got it home it doesnt have instructions.

Not happy.

Anyone tell me how to pair with my phone?

The phone finds the helmet but doesnt appear to accept pass code.

Any ideas while I wait for the shop to send instructions on.

Pass codes are generally 0000 or 1234, have you tried them?

Sounds like it could be something similar to trying to pair the Autocom bluetooth. Even when you put in the code there is a little button hidden away that has to be pressed to complete the pairing.
Could be something hidden on helmet.
Best advice is to do a search for helmet instructions. Must be down loadable from somewhere.

Hold down the main button for longer to be able to pair when you switch it on. At first you hear a high pitched beep, keep holding and then you will hear two low pitch beeps. At this point let go and you should be able to pair with new devices with standard pass codes like 0000 and 1234. Next time you switch it on normally it should pair automatically.

Apart from the pairing issue, what do you reckon to the helmet..?

They're on eBay at £150, which is pretty good value, if they're any good :augie

Helmet is fine for bluetooth. I pair it with my iphone for calls and then I have a bluetooth A2DP adapter coming off the bottom of the iphone to listen to audio, such as a GPS speed camera alert program I have on there or simply ipod. The bluetooth pauses tunes to answer calls automatically ok. The whole bluetooth functionality works mostly great. Occasionally it gets confused and you need to take out the battery and re-pair the items.

In terms of wearing the helmet, the only niggling thing for me is I find I have to pull the helmet quite far down towards my chest to be able to turn behind and look clearly both behind me or at my side, but now I got used to that, the cool bluetooth functionality, the flip-face and the sun-glasses makes up for it. J&S were doing a 20% sale so I got it for £120 at the time.
