will be in your location 4th-7th July, :bounce1 staying in Falmouth and riding to Padstow on the Fri,
would there be a nice route for that day that some of you could advise, and also any other relevant info would be appreciated, :clap

we own a B&B in Tipperary so am happy to return the favour if any of ye are over our way

thanks in advance :thumb2

I used to live in Falmouth and ride a lot around there.

Whizz down past Penzance via Gweek and perhaps the Lizard. Then off to Sennen and to St. Ives via St Just.

Then Gwithian, St Agnes....pass by Newquay, perhaps through Mawgan Porth to Padstow.

Proper job ooh arrgh:)

We had a great week down there last year Ed. St Ives is a lovely spot to stop for an alfresco lunch by the harbour. Enjoy. :thumb2

Have a run into Perranporth as well, if you are running from St.Ives to Newquay go along the minor coast roads and not the A30 if you can. Worth it!

Don't bother staying in Perranporth though, big disappointment. Too many shell suit wearing types holidaying there. Shame because the beach looks good on TV.

Pop down to Penzance and time it right to walk back across the causeway just as the tides coming in so you're up to your knee's the whole way in, a very nice way to cool off towards the end of a hot day in the saddle.

Pop down to Marazion and visit St. Michaels Mount, and time it right to walk back across the causeway just as the tides coming in so you're up to your knee's the whole way in, a very nice way to cool off towards the end of a hot day in the saddle.

fixed it for you. BUT dont leave it too late to walk across, many shell suited twats have needed the inshore lifeboat after getting stuck, not wanted to pay the few £ for the boat taxi and tried to walk or swim across :blast
