Bought one of these about three years ago and the best I can say for it is that it works after a fashion. The theory is simple and straightforward and should work. The problem I found with it was the earpieces. In order for it to work effectively they need to be a perfect fit in your ear every time. Now perhaps it was the type of helmet I was using, but I found that you would fit the earpiece nice and snugly, go to put on the helmet, the helmet put downward pressure on the sound tubes, dislodged the earpieces, you take the helmet back off again, reseat the earpieces, attempt to replace the helmet, the helmet puts pressure etc ad infinitum.
I think you need to be a man blessed with reserves of patience greater than mine for this particular piece of kit to work all the time every time. Riding an R1100 RT at the time, I found that even with everything set up correctly, I couldn't hear much over 70 mph (autobahn riding of course

).
I switched to Autocom and have not looked back since (I wonder is that why people keep running into the back of me

).
Probably not what you were hoping to hear, but that's my experience.
