I have recently got a Zumo 550 and am surprised and sometimes confused at the timing of the voice turn instructions. I find that the final instruction on the approach to a turn - "Turn left now" is given very often 200m before the actual turn. I am often left having to look at the display to decide which "left turn" to take which rather defeats the purpose of the voice instructions.
Is this a common feature to all Zumos? Is there a fix. I am used to Copilot sat nav which gives you a 1 one mile warning, 300yard warning then a turn instruction which it gives about 10 yards from the turn.
