It's worth looking up "Reg Local's" videos on you tube. His content is well structured, clear and informative. He has one on SMIDSYs which is excellent. Other valuable sources of information (for IAM members) is the content on the IAM website within a member's dashboard entitled "further information" which contains useful hints and tips.
All ROSPA/IAM training modules are based on the Police Roadcraft Manual for motorcyclists. It goes into more detail than the course logbooks. They describe more the "what to do" aspects, but are a bit lacking in some of the "how to do" aspects, with some of the reasoning explained, some of which the Roadcraft manual describe:
