WAAS up Doc?

OK I know this has probably been asked before, but should I have the WAAS enabled on my GPS. Seems to me with it enabled this morning that it acquired satelites quicker, apart from that can't see the difference.

Does using WAAS mean it does not use whatever it used before WAAS was enabled?

I am of course on main land europe.

You must be imagining things.......WAAS only operates in the US....

We need EGNOS....

Looks like EGNOS is testing in Europe and possibly live from April 2004.......and works with WAAS enabled GPS........perhaps you weren't imagining things after all.............?

Had a look Greg ta. Mine is nearly always in 3d mode. Or have I missed something, again.
I know its only a GPS60C but I'll try and see if I get the satelite coverage for #44. And let him know.
