Wales V England

Damn the best team winning! This is tribal. Winning is the important thing, playing well is optional.

Let's hope your 8 year losing streak in Wales is updated to 9 years.

I shall open a Rioja, especially for the occasion.

Now don't spoil my evening there's good chaps :thumb2

Tonight I shall mostly be drinking cider and calling Tindall a twat.

I've found the anthem ;)

Ah the Vulcan.

Not sure what he was signing but it wasn't the anthem.

I probably look like that when I'm signing it mind.

Why is it an evening kick off, Rupert Murdoch got anything to do with it?

thats it... feck rugby... lets hope the packers stuff them old steelers in the third biggest game of the weekend !!!c'mon the swans.!!

Friday night for fooks sakes?

I'm Old Skool unfortunately...Saturday afternoons are for rugby, particularly the Internationals. Stopped watching this shite in ernest when it all went commercial and "they" sold their souls. All super fit, 100 yards in 10 seconds minus, no sidesteps any more cos the pitches have effectively halved in size. Sterile contrived lineouts...no battles there...same with scrums...who puts in wins.

RIP the Arms Park, bollox to the Millenium Stadium, comfortable seats, great views anywhere, pint of bitter in ya hand, half an eye on the "game" the other, more importantly on the Big Screen so that ya can mouth "Hiya Mam" and wave to her too. She aint fekkin watching mate ! Music everytime there's a score..great lets listen now to Queen and "We will Rock You" How fookin unimaginative and American. ( crass) Makes me fekkin cringe it does.

Wheres the atmosphere of the hymns on a wet, drizzly Saturday afternoon, steam rising off the East and West Terraces and the South Enclosure as well as the players? Where's the hwyl?

Friday nights? Arse..got to be TV scheduling, the tail wagging the fookin dog.
Saturdays were a full day at it...down the Valleys to Cardiff for 10.00a.m...into the Police Club, then the pubs..oh the craic..oh the singing, oh the beer; wend ya ways down towards the ground...City Arms, the match the cameraderie under adverse conditions...no toilets.."pass us the bottle when you've finished with it butty boy:thumb:thumb, cameraderie with all the nations supporters, EVEN the Saes ;)

Not for me sat in a chair watching most of it on a Big Screen complete with slow mo' replays from 40 different cameras. No. The ref has made the decision, move on.
"OOh, ooh, another try..let's have some Frankie goes to Hollywood" Wankers.

So many women there too. Get back home and put some fookin supper on for Christs sake :augie ya taking up spaces that the Corporate hospitality boys could use.

Watch those corpulent smug coonts passing judgement on the telly on a Friday night? Bad enough on a Saturday but I cannot bare Jonathan D, adding an "sey" to every fookas name "Jonesey this and Hookey that" on a Friday too. What a whining twat. Where's the lovely voices of Broadcasting these days, Cliff Morgan and Mr McLaren?
...what we got? Brian lithpin Moore, Jeremy Silver spoon Guscott..all pinching themselves in disbelief, gobsmacked that the BBC are giving them a good wedge of our Licence money for fook all, but hey why knock it thank you very much. Can't believe their luck.

Nah, didn't wouldn't watch it..better things to do on a Friday night like working in the garage...I assume from the comments that we lost and they won;)...probably England will have played more methodical, tighter, controlled, unimaginative but effective in a points scoring sense only, "rugby" Probably will have outlifted sorry "outjumped" in the lineout and so on, whilst Wales will have played the more imaginative, mercurial, exciting, spontaneous skillful "rugby" but not for long enough and probably without having the "lucky" bounces...promising and potentially brilliant, but, in the cold light of day........crap, cos we lost.

Sorry about this, but sport is dead to me....and don't mention "football":blast

Anyrode..Sky plussed it just in case we won.....:tears

Not alot to disagree with here so far as I'm concerned. Especially the bit about yankyfication:rob
And Wales, for god sake try to run the ball instead of passing it ASAP as though it was a bomb. Try to be moving when the ball is passed to you rather than trying to accelerate from a standing start and get not very far. Every time Wales pass the ball, they effectively lose ground

AAARRRGGGGHHHH:blast

NO , NO, No !

B1FFO....no...., nobody but nobody passes the ball these days....it's OFFLOADED for fooks sakes :blast...and I heard a new buzz word off Jonathan...but can't remember it :banghead:...I'm sure it will grow in its usage..just like Guscott and Co's use of the word "focussed" in the late nineties. What a set of twats.:cool

I'll remember it next time I hear it..it's a cracker.:thumb

No tackles these days either....all fookin great big "hits" :banghead:
