Trying to find a good small 12v tyre compressor, found just the thing on wunderlich website (Airmann 12 Volt Kompressor) but no one has it here :(
Do any of you have a nice unit & where did you get it .

I have the Bestrest Products one - the Adventure model with the Tyre (notice correct spelling) Plugger accessory and the gauge (went a bit mad). Excellent gear and good service from the USA. :thumb

Buy dirt cheap car tyre compressor from Halfords, the thing with useless pressure guage and novelty flashing light. Take off the bulky cover. Inside is small compressor. Keep in old medium sized Tupperware. Yours for about six or eight quid.

PS You will probably have to conect it straight to the battery, croc clips or similar. Chances are it will draw more than the Canbus system can stand when it starts to compress the air.

Here's one I just made.

I attached a Mini automotive compressor that I purchased from ACE hardware for about $60 and attached it to a hardware kit which i bought from the BMW dealer.

It mounts where the pillion seat would normally sit. Going to test it out today. Will let you know!!

Here's some pics...

Contradiction in terms!

I paid just £5 for a small electric pump at a tool sale last week. It'll probably do 3 or 4 years' service before the hose or the valve connector fails (IMHE those are the bits that go first). I'll then throw it away and buy another.
