Wanted! - Paint Colour Code

I plan to respray the cylinder head protectors on my 08 GS Adventure to match the colour of the cylinder heads themselves.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a colour code for the 'magnesium' type colour?

Be careful though, my neighbour recently got a mix made up for his Citroen C4 in the metalic gold colour, didn't match at all. Got his money back though.

I've been looking into this myself to do my luggage rack. After speaking to Penny at Vines, I think I've narrowed it down to number 437, White Aluminium 2. At least I hope that's right, as I'm gonna have Halfrauds mix me some up tomorrow I'll let you know how I get on.

Oh just in case you didn't see the other thread, 437, White Aluminium 2, appears to be a perfect match, and I have a nicely clean luggage rack again

I'd be interested to see some piccies once you've done your protectors, should look pretty sweet

The name of my colour is Magnesium Matt Metallic. I think they changed the colour of the cylinder heads on 08 bikes so they are the same as the bodywork (in my case anyway).

North Oxford gave me N32 as the code. Checked it out at Halfords but they don't have it listed so I think I will have to get on to BMW Customer Services.
