Hi - would like to change the Euro spec headlight on my PD for a UK spec one. Anyone got one cluttering up the garage they would sell?

Gerry just swapped his for a twin headlight unit. Might be worth dropping him a pm.
I think certain K75 models had same headlamp, too.

Gone for a 1995 F650 Funduro one off Ebay for £30. Has the same part number and so will hopefully fit.

I had a nightmare getting the visor off my euro light to put on the UK light, tried heat which got it off but in the end just ordered a new one as it never looked right once it was off. Still available from BMW.
Finally got round to looking at swapping my euro headlight for the second hand UK spec one I had sourced off a Funduro.
As expected it is a straight swap although a fair amount of work involved to get at the old headlight and swap over the different parts. Found it very fidddly to get the headlight off the support frame and right at the end the plastic spigot/ball joint snapped off the frame
Bit of very careful drilling and using a spare cut down metal spigot sorted it out
Good news is that I managed to remove the visor off the old headlight without damaging it and so will silicone glue it on the new headlight tomorrow.
Then just need to put the bike back together again

Good job mate, taking the headlight out is a painful job.

Check all the warning lights work as you go, otherwise its all got to come off again (I know).
