As the tunnel is long, we have to zigzag around the streets of Angel a bit, to find the tunnel’s exit:

We’ll turn up Liverpool Road. In the 80’s I used to commute on a motorbike along Liverpool Road each day between Finchley and the City. You couldn’t have given the houses away then, mostly occupied by the large Irish population, living in bedstits. Times change:
