Just had my 12000 service done on my '07 GSA and was advised that the rear disc has warped a bit.
But 'not out of acceptable limits'
Will need to be replaced along with the pads at some time in the future.
I can feel the rear brake lever pulsing under my foot, so there is definitely something wrong.
Seems funny to me that fair wear and tear can result in any warping of a brake disc particularly over such a small mileage.
My bike is still in warranty and has been fully serviced by the dealer that I purchased it from.
Rang BMW Customer Services who advised that 'its down to the dealer to decide' if its a warranty claim, fair wear and tare or a manufacturing fault.
Looks like it's all my fault then.......
Anyone had similar? Anyone know if pattern discs are as good as BMW replacements ?
