many threads on warranty and as has been said it means different things to different people, maybe an answer here:
(r x t) + (i x h) = x
x < 10 you need it
x is 11 - 25 think hard
x > 26 dont bother
r = need for recovery where 5 means you can push it home and 1 means you might be on a cross Asia rally at any time
t = time off road where 5 means you have another 3 back up bikes and 1 means you would fail to eat if you lost your wheels
i = live within range of a good independent servicer/repairer where 5 means hes good/cheap and 1 means hes too far away or of varying ability
h = home servicing/repairs where 5 means you are a trained BMW tech and 1 means you sometimes put diesel in your bike
remember its just for fun and whilst improvements are ok any questioning of my maths will be ignored (I have an O level you know)
