Yes, transferable, but you will need to check this has been processed. I found out mine had not been done when I called the recovery service who did not have my details. No problem, the bike is covered regardless but needed to follow-up on this later, even though I had written and phoned when I got the bike to register it in my name with RE.
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but is dealer servicing necessary for the 3 year warranty to continue? I ask, as I’ve read on several sites that many owners have carried out home servicing from day 1 instead of paying dealers a high price for basic servicing.. it’s a cheap, simple bike and 2-300 of your finest is a lot to pay as a percentage of the bikes value for basic simple servicing.

Agreed. The 410 Himmie with 3000 service intervals costs £200-300 a pop at a certain BMW /Enfield dealer which is significantly more than they charge for a 1250LC over say a three year period and 18k miles.
RE might not like home servicing . buy your parts from an AD , keep the receipt to show you purchased genuine parts . if needed bribe the shop to stamp the book and to log it on their ( RE's ) system.
AS above. The warranty is transferable but check with BMW after a few days / weeks to ensure they have your new details against the "new" bike. My understanding is as long as genuine BMW parts are used they will honor the warranty.
