Probably true. However, at the risk of flogging a dead horse, not everyone takes this sort of thing written down in perhaps the same way as they might face to face with a smile (maybe) in the pub and this leads to friction/fear/loathing.
Absolutely not. He'd finished at the show and didn't mention Touratech once during the time he was here (he stayed overnight at my place and we rode all the following day). We talked a lot about doing the Dakar and the guys in the Boorman video as well as his partner and kids. He bought me (and Mrs Three Dawg and his two mates) dinner and lunch for me and the lads the following day so I'm actually up on the deal as far as how much I've spent at TT

.
He was gutted that there wasn't time to do Belach na Ba (he had only a day and a half or so) but we rode Inverness to Loch Carron via Loch Ness then over the top to Kishorn, Torridon, Kinlochewe and back to Inversneckie. He then went south where I think Skyenet picked them up and carried on showing them around. Serious milage!
BTW, I'm not an apologist for TT (I've only bought a couple of bits for the bike from them, but they are nicely done) as there are plenty of places to buy these baubles from, but Nick is a top bloke.
