Twin spark means 2 spark plugs per cylinder.
Supposedly gives better combustion and reduces surging. (I think it is really only there for emissions regulations compliance).

Not quite - its to clean up the emmisions - it doesn't fire on the small 2nd plug over 3K revs -

So where does the abouts does the second plug go then?
On the 80/100 its offset so it makes sence to put in the second plug opposite the original to gain the most burn, but as you know I've
just had the head of my 1100 to do a head gasket and the plug is central onto the Hemy head. Can't see much gain if the second plug is almost next to the first.
Unless the 1150 head is very different.

Did you ever manage to get those seized studs out of your cylinder heads ? If so, what method did you use ?

Took it to a local engineering shop in the end, they milled of the remaining studs and drilled then tapped new threads in.
Did a good job and only £10 per stud. Have now rebuilt with no probs but modified slightly. Spaced out the studs with stainless washers to allow a normal nut to fit with a couple of threads still showing, then filled new BM capped nuts with copperslip, and screwed on over the exposed thread. Quater of a turn to lock them in place. I will try to remember to loosen them off from time to time to stop them from seizing.
