One has to put down a deposit if one intends to buy a machine.I was on my way to trade in my bike when the then salesman called me to say he had sold the bike I was coming to buy ! wasn't impressed............... it's looking like the service Department are getting the same
No deposit requested, it was offered, as he had procured the bike at my request and said it was sold to my good self. Sold it to a chap he knew who boughtOne has to put down a deposit if one intends to buy a machine.
I "stole" someone else's car this way while he was test driving it without a deposit.
I hope you put their oil back in....No deposit requested, it was offered, as he had procured the bike at my request and said it was sold to my good self. Sold it to a chap he knew who bought
it on a whim........................ upshot was I found another in Chester, did the deal for a better spec bike at the same price...and did a better P/ex deal.
I've saved it for themI hope you put their oil back in....
Red light spells danger ? Billy Ocean I thinkupdate..........dropped bike off this morning, software updated & oil sender replaced.
Apparently, the suspension failure is/maybe down to the ezcan / spotlights sending rouge messages to the canbus system ? Strange as it had failed before & after that was fitted, also if the lithium battery is low. Again, strange as the bike sits with the trickle charger attached (BMW approved unit) when in the garage.
I didn't return the 270mls of overfill oil, waiting to see if it's been overfilled again..........................collecting tomorrow so we shall see!
Love the bike, not the drama's
It’s probably not changed much EXCEPT the bloody pub’s closed!!Hessett…I lived there as a boy
Can’t say I was impressed with Sycamore Peterborough when I made my latest purchase. So I will be contacting Liam.

Liam was the sales guy at SycamoreIt’s probably not changed much EXCEPT the bloody pub’s closed!!
(PS Who’s Liam?)
Will they now be giving you a hefty bill for all the time spent diagnosing this as it’s possibly being caused by non-BMW kit?so, bike went back yesterday for another check over and diagnostic, called today to say everything appears to be Ok. The issue is suspected to be with the HEX EZ can being installed with the extra spotlights. Apparently, all other systems were checked and ruled out, last visit the software was updated. They advised an issue with the HEX EZ Can and spotlights as this had been an issue with other bikes coming into the dealership with similar problems
I'm not any kind of electrical expert with this so reading and using AI there may be an issue with the CoLite DO9 Pro lights & EZ Can and the can bus system in there is some kind of signal interference tripping the suspension into a fault situation/ warning. Speaking with some tech's here at work in medical equipment and electronics they suggested fitting a ' TDK CLIP ON FERRITE BEADS SPLIT CORE EMI RFI' thingy after a bit of Googling. For the sake of £4 I'm going to give this a go when I get the bike back, if only to rule it out or identify this as the issue.
As I said I am not knowledgeable around electronics / CanBus so time will tell ! It's worth a punt.
Unless anyone knows better ??
The lady in the clothing section was great when I returned some BMW gortex trousers that had leaked. No quibbles and sent me a new pair of EuroGuards that didn't fit, unfortunately. Full refund given upon return.I've never been impressed with BMW Peterborough.

Its not been mentioned ££, or confirmed as the source of the problem so hopefully no.Will they now be giving you a hefty bill for all the time spent diagnosing this as it’s possibly being caused by non-BMW kit?
