There are two tubes that hang out of the bike by your right footpeg. One of these is the drain pipe for that hole.

You could try blowing whatever fell down it back up. But make sure you dont blow a load of crap out and into your tank!

When my 1100 was like this I used a thin zip tie to poke around in there. I poured a small amount of petrol around the hole as well. i just kept poking around and eventually it drained out! Then I blasted some WD40 through there with teh little red pipe. Never had a problem again after that.

There is a join in the pipe inside the tank, so dont stick an airline on it!! You dont want it coming apart in the tank or everytime you fill up most of its going to pour back out of the bottom end of the pipe!!

when i got my 1150gs it did this, opened fuel cap blocked the tank filler hole with a rag and blow up breather/drain pipes from near footrest with an air line gently at first to make sure you have the right one then give it a good blow out, then clean up the mess. mine has been ok for 20k miles now :thumb

I cheated on my 1100, got fed up of it blocking, didn't matter how much blowing I did. so I modified it,...
Took the whole cap assembly off, and where the tube comes down and kinks to go round the funnel, i just cut it off and attached the rubber tub directly to the tube, which now goes straight down. Basically had to much junk building up at the kink, just have to be careful not to cut to much off as theirs not much room for the hose clamp when putting it back on the tank.
