Water...

I have a 2820, which over the past few days has been intermittently restarting...have narrowed it down to water getting into the power connector where it connects to the GPS....anybody else had this problem....if so any fix... . I think this may have also been the problem I had with my Nav III as well. They are both well used....

Try slapping some vaseline on the connector, that should dispel any water without harming your electrical connections.

I've used silicon spray, same effect, but the benefit is it is not greasy, downside is it probably doesnt last as long
