I have a Halfords automatic battery charger with croc leads that has a battery maintenance mode that I would like to plug into the bike. Rather than using the croc leads I want to put an optimate style plug on it as a pigtail to the battery. Any ideas where I can get the plugs? Can't seem to find one that has a weatherproof cover for the bike.

Personally I'd add a fused BM connector that's powered direct from the battery, then you can charge the battery through it, and assuming the fuse level is ok, use it to power an electric pump / heated jacket that are above 5 amps.

Two birds, one stone :)

Get a plug from http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=266636

And a socket kit from Adventure bike, Call or PM Steve73 :thumb2 http://www.adventurebikewarehouse.co.uk/
Then you can just plug in the charger or any other stuff. Waterproof and easy to get to.

Good shout guys. Thanks. Bit tired of taking the seat off all the time and have ordered some din plugs for the pump and will put one on my charger. I assume you just zip tie the lead to the frame?
