Anyone found a pair of water proof trousers you can get on easily over boots without hopping about on one leg or resorting to plastic bags on the feet.

A mate used to use a pair of ski/walking trousers that opened right down the legs

On the very wet GOC run, I used a pair of North Face Goretex mountain trousers which had full length zips down each leg. They eventualy let in water down the zips which was a pity as they were comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Probably better getting trousers more suited for purpose than ski/walking trousers.

Try the Aerostitch Darien trousers. They have a full length zip down each leg.

Been using a pair for the last two years, great, easy to use and waterproof

The BMW oversuit (2 pc) I have (think it's from the 3-phase outfit) has full length zips in the legs and velcro over-flaps.

Quick and easy to put on and don't leak unless you are so stupid as to think your bike is a boat - and should cross rivers :rob

I wear police issue leathers.........:augie:augie:augie. On wet days I wear cheap waterproof golf leggings. €10 a pair and they normally last six months before they tear.
