They don’t appear to be gore Tex either.Nothing about zips up the side, which seems to be the wanted feature.

all the way on both sides....well mine do. Have a look at their websiteThese look the sort of thing I want. How far up the leg does the zip go?
They have zips up the side but the membrane is not Gore-tex.Nothing about zips up the side, which seems to be the wanted feature.
I've got a pair in 3XL 33in Leg. They work well. I had them on last year in four days of heavy Scottish rain, no leaks at all. I must add that both my bikes have the Cool Covers mesh seat cover so that may add to the lack of wet arse.Anyone found the Berghaus Paclite in anything but XS?
Thanks. All sizes but mine! I'm a svelt 34 inch waist again - horray! I'm also a 34 inch leg.Have a look at this site, seem to have a range of sizes.
On that basis, you don’t just need some waterproof pants, you need protection in them as well. Aerostich Darien pants are perfect for this scenario. Designed to go over your day clothes, I used these with jeans/motorbike boots to commute to work, then changed into suit trousers/shoes when I got there.Thanks. All sizes but mine! Lads, just so we are talking the same thing. I'd be wearing these over a pair of jeans...
No I SHOULD but I don't need protection!!! I just want something in my top box in case it starts pissing rain and I'm out and about. Other wise I'm happy enough in my jeans. On that basis, you don’t just need some waterproof pants, you need protection in them as well. Aerostich Darien pants are perfect for this scenario. Okey-dokey… In that case it’s difficult to beat the vfm of Army goretex overtrews, or RAF/Navy blue if cammo isn’t your thing. £30 or less… Just a recommendation thoughNo I SHOULD but I don't need protection!!! No I do not think so. I do not want tat.Okey-dokey… In that case it’s difficult to beat the vfm of Army goretex overtrews, or RAF/Navy blue if cammo isn’t your thing. £30 or less… Just a recommendation

These two don't compute (The RAF/Army goretex pants are as good as they get for quality).....I like having a pair of overtrousers bungeed on the bike if there's a shower forecast as I generally ride in bike jeans. All I want is to pop them on and stay dry...if they were blue or black (or camo) it would matter not as they'd be coming off half an hour later....each to their own I suppose. Happy hunting. No I do not think so. I do not want tat.
Fair enough point taken! I always equate army surplus with ugly smelly stuff. Rightly or wrongly! Also I’m in Dublin and I don’t think I’d be able to find that. These two don't compute (The RAF/Army goretex pants are as good as they get for quality).....I like having a pair of overtrousers bungeed on the bike if there's a shower forecast as I generally ride in bike jeans.
