Does anybody know where I can buy a waterproof rubber bung to seal the silencer when washing the bike, on a 2014 GS1200 LC, please ?

I've always just shoved a rag in the outlets.
Just stretch a disposable rubber glove over the end ?

I may have to do that, but I'm so used to using a rubber bung on all my off road bikes, I'm surprised that they don't seem to be readily available for the LC

Is water going into the silencer when washing the bike so much of an issue?
Have always washed my bikes with pressure water hoses (Karsher) without caring too much about it and I don't think they are any worse for wear for it.

Most of them are for circular holes, but when I changed the search for rectangular one's, up popped this and the 25mm x 40mm ones can easily be trimmed to suit the 37mm deep outlets

when i was young i used to recycle my condoms to cover the end of the silencer,they were already stretched enough to go over the end of a big fat silencer.

Get an empty 1L used engine oil bottle, cut the base end at about 2 inches from the base and you have a cover that will fit the exhaust.
